  • Yay for the return of Elosha.  It’s always nice to see familiar faces.
  • Again, mad props to the actress who plays the Hybrid for being that weird and spending all day in the tub of goo.
  • Baltar and the Hybrid was hilarious.  Same with “witnessing” to the Centurion.
  • Kudos to Grace Park.  When the Eight was telling Helo about her downloading Athena’s memories, it took me a second to remember that both Eights are played by the same actress.  Ms. Park and Tricia Helfer have done in amazing job of making each copy we meet someone new and different.
  • “Until she sees something shiny.”  QFT.
  • I love that Roslin took off her shoes when kneeling beside the Hybrid.
  • You are not married to the entire production line.  Great line, and true, but I have to also appreciate Helo’s fierce loyalty.
  • I will never stop being amazed that a television show has better special effects than some movies out there.
  • I’m honestly surprised at how much I don’t want Gaius to die.
  • Good job, Bear McCreary, for timing the pattern of the falling drops of blood with the percussion line.
  • Adama putting his wedding band on Laura’s hand killed me.
  • D’Anna is the Ashton Kutcher of BSG.
  • About time.”  No frakking kidding.

Dislikes:

  • Why no Leoben pilots?  If Sixes are pilots, why not Twos?
  • Why would you tape gauze to a shirt and not the skin?
  • Bad me forgot everyone else didn’t know Baltar screwing over humanity.
  • Why was Laura on the verge of having a convulsion during Baltar’s confession?

 Questions I Have:

  • Is it just me or do the Threes constantly act drunk?
  • How long will it take for this A/R fangirl to stop squeeing?

 What did you think?

I THINK Laura was freaking out during Baltar’s confession–at least that’s how I took it.

This week was SOOOOOO Much better than last week even with Laura and Baltar intermittently screaming at each other and the poor Hybrid! LOL

Was Googling around trying to find the name of the actress who plays the Hybrid on the rebel base ship. Her name is Tiffany Lyndhall-Knight.

What a crazy job … probably five hours in make up, three hours in a jacuzzi filled with KY, and then shower until bedtime in hopes to get at least 80% cleaned off.

Roslin was trembling with rage upon hearing that Baltar, who she already hates because of the New Caprica debacle, had given the cylons the access codes, which resulted in the near destruction of the human race… and here he is saying he doesn’t feel guilty about it because a God she doesn’t believe in said it was OK because he’s perfect. Meanwhile Roslin has inherited the soul-crushing burden of saving what’s left. So it’s entirely appropriate she would appear almost physically sick at hearing her worst suspicions confirmed. I wouldn’t have been shocked if she’d actually thrown up. And don’t forget she has cancer too! She looks ill because she is. Actually I thought she handled it rather well. Throwing an all-out fit and strangling the guy would have been what most people would have done. I thought it was a great portrayal of barely controlled emotion on Mary McDonnell’s part.

PS - I thought Galactica had only 4-5 nukes left… does this attack mean they’re out for good?

The ragnar anchorage (sp?) sure must have had a lot of ammo and they Galactica must have a lot of storage space. They never seem to run out of rounds. I hope the cylons don’t hit the ammo dump… that must be one heck of a stockpile.
