“Daybreak, Part 1″ Review

Things I liked:

Caprica City flashbacks.  Loved seeing Laura giggling and Kara and Lee with short hair.  All seems right in the world when that’s on the screen.
Loved seeing Zac, especially his interaction with Lee.
I adore Aaron Douglas and Tahmoh Penikett, especially when they’re in the scene together.

Hello, Helo.  It’s nice to have you back after not seeing you for a few weeks.
Love the pretty piano music
I’m so glad Doc Cottle is getting at least one scene in all of these last episodes.  I dearly love that character.

BSG Movie News

We’ve been hearing for a while now talks about some BSG TV Movies (a la Razor), but today the LA Times confirmed a few things we already had heard rumors about:

Jane Espenson wrote the script
Edward James Olmos is directing
It’s going to be Cylon-centric
It will be a flashback

Starbuck’s art; it’s just pretty to look at and makes sense that she would paint everywhere to try and sort things out.
Kara Thrace is more frakked up than ever and major kudos to Katee Sackhoff for being able to pull off that level of acting.
