Got to watch the mid-season finale early today while at work. My thoughts are hidden behind the “Read more” link so as not to spoil anyone who hasn’t seen it yet and doesn’t want details early.
I was going to do the normal recap for this episode, but then one of my friends on LiveJournal posted this amazing picspam of the episode tying the dialogue to previous episodes in a way that is nothing short of amazing and beautiful; thus, crazyvictoria will be doing the recap for this week. I […]

Semi-glad to see Lee back.
Very glad to see Laura verbally beat up on Lee.
Adama and Tigh getting down to business together when the basestar shows up was great.
I love that Galactica doesn’t look all pretty and shiny. It’s a nice touch that I think would’ve worked in favor of other shows like Star Trek: Voyager.
Nice […]

Ingredients: 7 Known Models, 4 Models Living in Secret, 1 to be Revealed. Mix and let stew for four seasons.
Previously on BSG: President Roslin’s cancer returned. Kara painted her memories of what Earth looked like, while sending her crew on the Demetrius on a wild goose chase around the sector trying to find […]

Drums starting right at the beginning = you know is going to be an action-packed cold open. Yipee!
Tory actually doing her job and not acting bizarre nor sleeping with Baltar? I love it!
Getting to see a jump from a window? Amazing. Just like watching that first jump to hyperspace through the viewport in the Millennium […]
12 Cylon Models = 7 Known + 4 in Secret + 1 to be Revealed
Previously on BSG: Starbuck takes command of a sewage recycling ship called the Demetrius to look for Earth, but she spends most of her time acting crazy and redecorating her quarters, leaving her crew to doubt her. Well, her crew […]

Starbuck’s art; it’s just pretty to look at and makes sense that she would paint everywhere to try and sort things out.
Kara Thrace is more frakked up than ever and major kudos to Katee Sackhoff for being able to pull off that level of acting.
CGI space scenes make me smile. The close up of […]
Twelve Cylon models. Seven are known. Four live in secret. One will be revealed. But apparently they no longer have a plan.
Previously on BSG: Gaius is taken in by a harem where begins to preach his faith in the Cylon god. He then sleeps with Tory; she cries. Mrs. […]

Just finished watching last night’s episode, and here are my thoughts:

How amazing this cast is. Kudos for bringing back Kate Vernon, who is just phenomenal. Aaron Douglas (Chief Tyrol) acted his socks off in this one, as did James Callis (Baltar). And of course the awesome duo of Edward James Olmos […]
